QUILT LESSON PLANS

SWEET CLARA AND THE FREEDOM and UNDER THE QUILT OF NIGHT are fiction.  But while there is no confirmed evidence linking quilts with the underground railroad, there seems to be a lot of folklore.  Here are some links to creative ideas and lesson plans for using quilts in the classroom.  Most of these sites also contain links to other internet resources.
